Terms of Service

VentOasis is a professional network where founders and the people who help them build can create profiles, share updates about their work, connect with one another, and discover people, startups, events, and resources.

Unless stated otherwise, we may add, modify, or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that the Service, or any part of it, will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by the laws of the country you are in, to use the Service. If you are creating an account or using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

By using the Service you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and current.

To use certain features of the Service, you may be asked to create an account or sign in using a supported provider. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to keep your account information accurate and to update it promptly if it changes. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account.

The Service allows you to post, upload, and share content, including text, images, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of the User Content you post.

By posting User Content, you grant VentOasis a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely as necessary to provide and operate the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You confirm that you have the rights to post it and that it does not violate these Terms or the rights of any third party.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• posting content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory, or infringing;
• impersonating others or providing false information;
• attempting to access the accounts of others without authorisation;
• interfering with the operation of the Service, including by introducing malware or attempting to overload or circumvent its security;
• scraping or collecting data from the Service in ways not intended by these Terms; or
• using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may remove or restrict access to User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

The Service, including its design, code, trademarks, and branding, is owned by VentOasis or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described in these Terms.

The Service may integrate with or rely on third-party services, such as identity providers, analytics providers, and infrastructure providers. Your use of such third-party services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of third-party services.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VentOasis disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be available at all times, be error-free, or that the results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VentOasis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability, or one hundred US dollars (USD 100) if you have not made any payments.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VentOasis and its team members from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or that your continued use would pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive it.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, our practices, or applicable law. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes, for example by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by providing additional notice.

If a user continues using VentOasis after updated Terms become effective, they agree to the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Where applicable law requires additional notice or affirmative consent, VentOasis will provide or obtain it.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable law. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delhi NCR, India.
